Arsenic is a ubiquitous element in the natural environment. It is a naturally occurring metal and its organic form, found when arsenic is combined with carbon or [hydrogen] is not as common as inorganic arsenic which occurs when arsenic combined with one or more elements including oxygen, chlorine, and sulfur.
