Biosketch:
Oragwu, Chikelue Ifeanyichukwu is a graduate of Medicine from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, Southeast Nigeria in 2007 with a passion for public health, toxicology and clinical research stemming from his undergraduate days. His research group, ZETA 12 Group, under the mentoring of Orish Ebere, has had interests in heavy metals which led to work with food drinks/beverages sold in Nigeria and the effect of herbal remedies on human semen quality. Articles on this research have been published in a variety of journals leading to a rise in the public health concern by the enlightened and general populace locally and abroad.
His interests are reflected in associations and memberships of different bodies such as Society for Envirionmental Toxicology and Chemistry, Europe (SETAC) www.setaceu.org , Cameroon Society for Toxicological Sciences (CSTS) www.cameroonsocietyfortoxicologicalsciences.org, Africa Education Initiative (www.nef3.org), the Society for Quality Assurance-International and its Nigerian Regional Chapter (www.sqa.org, www.nrcsqa.org), as well as The Association for Good Clinical Practice in Nigeria (www.agcpn.org ), which have spanned his days as an undergraduate till present. He is also a registered Cochrane author.
He also has a passion for mentoring young undergraduates on career paths, networking and utilizing the opportunities that present in the course of training in various disciplines.
He is an avowed Christian. His hobbies include travelling, photography, surfing the internet, computers, reading, networking with people/ideas and playing basketball.
