William Allen (Bill) WITHERUP (biography information)
Bill left this earth on June 3, 2009 following a brief illness complicated by Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Beloved poet, father, grandfather, brother, friend and political/social activist, he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Bill was preceded in death by his father, Mervyn Clyde Witherup. He is survived by his daughters Teresa Witherup Schiller of San Jose, CA, Gwendolyn Witherup of Seattle, Amber Renee Witherup Allen of San Francisco, CA, grandson Shane Gabriel Diamond French of Seattle; mother Nita Rosemond Witherup of Post Falls, ID and siblings Sandra Hankins, Seattle, Mervyn Witherup, Spokane, WA, Connie Isakson, Post Falls, ID. Memorials may go to Washington Physicians for Social Responsibility or the charity of your choice.
