Seven legislators from Washington and Oregon sent an angry letter to U.S. Energy Secretary Bill Richardson arguing that there is no reason to restart the Fast Flux Test Facility. The lawmakers, all Democrats, said the department should focus on cleaning up radioactive and chemical wastes at Hanford before it starts worrying about new programs.
