Overview

Alexander Valterovich Litvinenko (December 4, 1962 - November 23, 2006) was a Russian ex-KGB colonel and ex-FSB lieutenant-colonel who died following exposure to polonium 210 on November 1, 2006. A contact of Litvinenko also has tested positive for polonium-210 and depiberate poisoning is suspected. See BBC News Story.
